Rental Terms & Waiver
No fine print, no surprises. Read both documents below before you reserve — we ask you to sign them before your rental begins.
Rental Liability & Damage Agreement
Covers eligibility, responsibility for damage, heater and equipment rules, cleaning expectations, weather and placement requirements, and deposit, payment and cancellation terms.
The short version
A plain-English summary. The signed documents above are what actually governs your rental.
- You must be 18+ to rent, and you are responsible for every guest who uses the sauna or cold plunge during your rental.
- No one under age five may use the sauna or the cold plunge. Minors must be actively supervised by a responsible adult at all times.
- Do not move the unit. Only Nordic Heat staff may move, tow, or reposition the sauna or plunge. Attempting to move it may incur additional fees.
- Heater rules. Only a small amount of water for steam — no oils, fragrances, or additives on the heater or rocks.
- Damage is the renter’s responsibility, including repair or replacement cost, plus a $100 per day loss-of-use fee if the unit has to come out of service.
- Return it clean. A $75 cleaning fee may apply for excessive mess, trash, or improper use.
- No use under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or other impairing substances — this applies to the cold plunge especially.
- Session limits. 15–20 minutes in the sauna, 2–5 minutes in the plunge, and never use the cold plunge alone.
- Photos are opt-in. You choose yes or no on whether we can use photos or video of you and your guests in our marketing.
- Travel radius. We serve 15 miles from zip 55359 as standard. 16–20 miles adds $75, 21–25 miles adds $100. Beyond 25 miles, give us a call.
- Minnesota law governs these agreements, with venue in Hennepin County.
Deposit amount, balance due date, and cancellation terms are confirmed at the time of booking. Nordic Heat may cancel or reschedule for severe weather or unsafe conditions — if we do, you will be offered a full refund or a new date at no extra charge. Questions about any of this?
